To be successful both in personal and financial life is a basic desire of every human being. Everyone wants to be a success in their society. But unfortunately only a few ever achieve their goals. So what could be responsible for this? And how can one achieve the desired success?
You see, there are different stages, steps, or what you can also call phases in every process of achieving a goal, which you must pass through. And of course each of the stages presents its peculiar challenges or huddles to climb. That’s a fact of life that makes life interesting.
Let me come clearer, for instance if you desire to be a medical doctor, you would need to start out your preparation from high school. Then you proceed to college to do the required courses, and then to medical school.
You don’t go straight from high school to medical school. Each of the stages you have to cross is to prepare you for the higher level until you succeed in qualifying as a medical doctor.
The same goes in a work place. To get to the position of a company’s President, you got to begin your career from a lower rung of the ladder, perhaps as a clerk.
If you are hardworking and dedicated to your duties you get promoted to a higher level. It’s important for you and the company that you master each stage thoroughly to make you able to handle effectively and efficiently the greater tasks up the ladder.
From the above instances, there is something of great importance. You must recognize that if you have a goal to achieve, whatever you are doing presently, or the position you are now, is a stage you must master and pass over to move higher until you have attained success in attaining that goal. Even if you don’t have a job right now, it is still a stage you have to overcome to proceed to the next.
I will like to emphasis something here, and this is the best part about the inevitable stages in success achievement. Each stage always provides whatever that is needed to be able to master and succeed in it to progress to the other.
Again, considering the above instances, for each class you are as you study to become a medical doctor, you have teachers or professors to guide and give you the needed knowledge and training to enable you qualify.
Also, in the work environment, you have both inner and external training programs organized by the company to help you succeed on your job and get prepared for the next level.
Yes, the enabling resources I have just mentioned seem quite obvious, however there are others, which are undoubtedly far more important, but less recognized or used.
This is where the success secret lies, where the line is drawn between successful people and those who would not succeed at achieving their goals given the same resources as those that succeeded.
Each stage naturally attracts the right people, information, ideas, money, etc, to help in passing you on to the next.
You just have to be conscious of, recognize and appreciate, the circle of people you are in now, the kind of information available to you and the ideas that are coming to you. You must use the opportunities that these people and things are bringing to you. They are meant to make your ascent possible!
Also, be aware that the amount of money available to you right now, however little, is what you need to be able to enter the next stage. It is your responsibility to find out how you can grow it to that level.
The same is applicable to the knowledge you presently possess. You don’t have it for nothing, discover how to use it to move upward and achieve the success that you desire.
